A synthetic rubber produced from isoprene in the carbon pentafraction of petroleum cracking by-product through polymerization, stripping and crimping. The content of cis-1,4 structure is more than 97%. Because its structure and properties are similar to natural rubber, it is also called synthetic natural rubber. Although its raw rubber strength, adhesion, processing properties and vulcanized rubber tear strength, fatigue resistance are slightly lower than natural rubber, but its water resistance, electrical insulation than natural rubber. At the same time, it also has good elasticity, cold resistance (vitrification temperature -68ºC) and high tensile strength.
